Area Learning Center
The purpose of an Area Learning Center (ALC) is to provide alternative education options to students who are at risk of not graduating high school. Southern Plains Area Learning Center (SPALC) assists area school districts by increasing academic success for all students. SPALC does this through Targeted Services Programming, Seat Based Day Programming, Credit Recovery through day or evening classes, and Summer School.
